A “child abuse” protest at Dealey Montessori is planned for Thursday afternoon’s school dismissal by the same parents who attempted a classroom protest disrupting student learning in September over school mask mandates.
Dallas ISD officials have not yet commented on the campaign or what they are doing to protect children, but several parents have voiced concern that the school address is being shared on social media.
A counter protest is being planned against those who arrive attempting to disrupt dismissal.
Protest At Dealey Montessori
The protest is planned for 3:15PM on October 14, 2021, the day prior to the district’s Fair Day per the Dallas ISD calendar. The timing of the protest puts it on a collision course with the release of students at a historically busy time of day.
This is the same school where students were attacked by fireworks earlier this year. Dallas Police have yet to take a report on that incident.
Dallas ISD leadership, Dealey administration, and Site Based Decision Making committee members were previously asked about the classroom protests, but none responded.
This coverage is full isn’t so many lies. Who are you guys anyway? Never heard of you but you claim “ You want dialogue between opposing viewpoints to find the right answer. We believe we can do this with respect, without the drama.” Yet you don’t bother to verify any of “facts” from your guests. Lauren Davis is not a hero! She is a lone wolf on a mission to fuel her agenda and lawsuit against DISD – and Dealey Montessori in particular . She is one parent, with two kids who are disrupting the education of 600 other children and wreaking havoc on our teachers, administration and Fellow Parents. So she disagrees with her children being required to wear masks. So what. She knew that when she chose to stay there. She was given the opportunity for her kids to go virtual – – she declined it. She knew the rules she signed the codes of conduct and she said nothing but disrupt, degrade, lie, and make a mockery out of her own children. She is the child abuser. The system is not perfect there was no real guidebook for how all of this was going to work. We all know it’s been a shit show. And that applies to every family and child in the school system. It sucks. Our kids have been through enough and this was a time to try to come together and focus on the learning and necessary healing after last year. She chose to disregard all of that for the sake of her kids – with no regard to all the of the other students. . It’s selfish. It’s shameful. And the biggest thing that stands out to me are the lies and exaggerations she claims of the schools accommodations for her kids. I believe they have done the best they can with what they have to work with. She didn’t mention they’re paying a full-time substitute out of the budget that we have to teach her to kids. Or that the other teachers with an already busy classroom have to come down and give additional instruction to her two kids.
Her son is a bully and has a history of being a bully. And she has used them for her own personal agenda – her pawns. One of these included recording confidential and sensitive conversations in a GSA meeting that should be safe and affirming for the kids who choose to be there. But her kid goes there with a calculated intent to trap and expose and publicly humiliate that teacher, without their awareness or consent. That is unacceptable. He also uses homophobic slurs to the kids who do attend. Besides it’s moral atrocities it also is a level two offense and DISD has yet to impose any punishment or consequences. Likely fear to do so based on what I understand is pending litigation by her. And fear of stirring up more controversy. These actions, and more are grounds for suspension and possible expulsion outside of all of the mask bullshit! Her kids have, on multiple occasions verbally disrespected and disregarded the teachers, and the administration. They have even gone as far as physically putting their hands on them. Also grounds for suspension and or expulsion. Yet nothing being done – because her agenda is about money and greed.
You tell me why her sophomore son at Hillcrest high school wears his mask every single day? She didn’t mention that, You tell me why she and her family wear their mask to church and to their volunteer events? Her story is full of false claims and for her to name other young children in the school, publicly, and too release recordings that were not approved or made known, well that just goes to her character , showing how deceitful and dishonest she really is.
Bottom line, we don’t always agree with the rules and guidelines we must follow – that’s part of life. And teaching your children that is a fundamental parental requirement. Sometimes we have to comply for the greater good of the community. That’s what we’re all trying to do here – igive our kids a safe place to learn and to grow their family values. She has no regard for that. Many of the young children at Dealey have observed this insanity first hand and are scared. They don’t understand the behaviors they are seeing her children express with no consequences being imposed. That does longer damage to these kids and their ability to feel safe and instilling trust that their teachers are there to protect them .
So I say to you where is the “other side” of the story? Why are you not talking to anybody else? Dealey has 640 some students that are working together during a difficult time and all abiding by the rules. These two students are disrupting the whole entire school.
In my opinion their parents are the monsters! They are the child abusers. I date you to investigate “ the other side” to “ find your truth”!
We are not saying Ms. Davis is or is not a hero. We used a screen shot circulating that has that as a chyron. Multiple parents came to us with this story and we are reporting what appears to be both nesworthy and a dangerous event. Our team has previously tried to get information from Dallas ISD, Dealey Montessori, the PTA and SBDM, and many others, but no one will speak on the record. Given parents are not getting information from the school they should be aware of events that may occur on Thursday. – AC

I wish I knew what you said about receiving no comment from any of the DISD parties is true, but that’s not my understanding. I do not have first-hand knowledge nor proof of that. If that’s the case it’s probably a matter of pending litigation/lawsuit by Lauren Davis – putting them in a position where they cannot respond. We do agree on one thing. What she is doing is “dangerous”. If her or her friends have issue they should be doing this at the district level not at our school where our small children are being subjected to this hate and instilling fear and uncertainty. The hypocrisy is outrageous! Another stunt to disrupt the education of our kids and school resources. Dealey didn’t make this decision the district did – to protect our children and staff.. That is who her fight needs to be with. Keep it out of our school! Off our schools property. She is causing the direct threat.
