Brad Namdar on 660 The Answer

Brad Namdar on 660 The Answer

Conservative radio host Mark Davis hosted Brad Namdar on 660 The Answer to answer questions about allegations in The Dallas Morning News that Namdar solicited escorts in 2021.

The allegations have cost Namdar a suspension from the Texas Secretary of State Texas Businesses Against Trafficking Program. Davis called TX32 a “pick up” opportunity for a Republican takeover of the House.

Brad Namdar on 660 The Answer

Namdar said “the allegations are not true. They are smears.”

Namdar claims in a scratchy throated response that this is all a “smear campaign” that happened two days before Early Voting to hurt him as a candidate.

Davis also brought up the issue of inappropriately touching an underage student at North Dallas High School.

Namdar says he never procured sexual services despite video of him.

Part of the story is that Namdar did not pay the escort for services on the second occasion. This is a second payment issue for Namdar who has now had legal questions about payment for services on multiple occasions.

Namdar Suspended By Texas Secretary of State

Today it was announced Brad Namdar suspended by the Texas Secretary of State Texas Businesses Against Trafficking Program.

Namdar who is running against five other opponents in TX32 has been defiant, but per local news reports, was caught solicitiing sex from an escort last year in the time period he was playing kingmaker in the Dallas City Council race of Barry Wernick.

In social media posts, Namdar has been in full denial mode stating: “I am not going to allow for false allegations towards me, my family, or anyone else to distract me from my campaign. Lies, fabrications, and attacks on my character have been done, but I will move forward. I’d like to thank our supporters during this time and let’s focus on TX32.”

Dallas County GOP In Denial Also

Per local reports, Jennifer Stoddard Hajdu, who chairs the Dallas County Republican Party, said the electorate will choose the right candidate.

“The voters in the 32nd District are very experienced voters,” she said. “They know what issues matter to them, they have very good judgment, and they will act accordingly.”

Namdar Suspended From Anti-Trafficking Group

Secretary of State John Scott gave Namdar until Friday to verify he did not violate the program’s “Zero Tolerance Policy” toward trafficking.

The program has specific prohibitions against the use of company funds to patronize sexually oriented businesses or to engage in sexual conduct that violates state or federal law.

DMN Pulls Out After Brad Namdar Solicits Escort

The Dallas Morning News pulls out of its endorsement after report Brad Namdar solicits escorts in the lead up to his campaign per a report in its pages.

Per the Dallas Morning News:

Last month, after a group of candidates came before our editorial board seeking our recommendation in the Republican primary for the 32nd Congressional District, we gave that recommendation to small business owner Brad Namdar, citing his bipartisan tone and willingness to acknowledge the complexity of issues facing our nation.

We withdraw that recommendation today and cannot recommend a candidate to Republican voters from the remainder of the field.

Brad Namdar Solicited Escort

Our decision to withdraw our recommendation of Namdar is based on a troubling pattern of alleged actions raised in an investigative story published Saturday in this newspaper. This includes deeply concerning information that a woman who works as a professional escort has come forward to allege that Namdar — who has campaigned in part on his work fighting human trafficking — solicited sex from her on two occasions last spring.

It also includes a newly uncovered allegation dating to Namdar’s time as a Dallas ISD teacher that he inappropriately touched a student.

Brad Namdar Solicits Endorsement, But Loses In End

Our political team considered the thirty-three year old Namdar the “prohibitive favorite,” despite an autocratic style that rankled some during city council elections.

The GOP primary race includes five other candidates including Darrell Day, Nathan Davis, Edward Okpa, Antonio Swad and Justin Webb. The winner of the primary race will face incumbent Rep. Colin Allred in the November general election.

Congressional candidate Brad Namdar solicited escort for sex per reports in the Dallas Morning News.

Brad Namdar Solicited Escort

The Dallas Morning News report says the escort said she first met Namdar in May 2021 as he was gearing up for his campaign.

The Dallas Morning News says they were provided with evidence, including videos, of the alleged sexual encounters. The News is not naming her because she fears retaliation from Namdar and his supporters.

The Dallas Morning News also claims to have uncovered allegations through school records that Namdar inappropriately touched a student when he was a teacher and coach at a Dallas high school. Child Protective Services was notified about the alleged incident, but local law enforcement officials said they have no records of such a report.

Brad Namdar Solicited Escort Despite Anti-Trafficking Background

Namdar has become the favorite in the race given the endorsement of former TX32 Representative Pete Sessions.

In December, Other Side Dallas called him the “prohibitive favorite” and the Dallas Morning News just endorsed him also in the race for the Republican primary to challenge Colin Allred.

However, those in Barry Wernick’s D11 campaign circle described him as a self described “kingmaker.”

Namdar has made his anti-trafficking work central to his campaign. There has been no response from either Governor Abbott or Pete Sessions about the allegations.

Cumulus Charges Kids With Cancer

Cumulus charges kids with cancer for commercials that did not air on behalf of Strike Out Kids Cancer Foundation in September 2021 per multiple sources familiar with the issue.

Strike Out Kids Cancer Foundation was raising money through North Texas Giving Day, an annual event designed to empower North Texas nonprofits.

Cumulus Charges Kids With Cancer

Strike Out Kids Cancer had a $25,000 goal they were hoping to raise, but fell well short after ads they had purchased with 1310 The Ticket did not run as planned.

The radio station has not responded to emails or phone calls since September 2021 and refuse to provide a refund to the nonprofit.

Two persons unrelated to the nonprofit completed affidavits stating that they did not hear the ads played in the Youtube ad above during the month of September and per Cumulus Media’s advertising dashboard, no online ads ran either.

Neither Cumulus nor UMB Financial Corporation, the card issuer for the Texas Rangers Mastercard, has responded to request for comment.

Karrol Rimal Sinking Jasmine Crockett?

Karrol Rimal

A video found Monday on Twitter shows ‘progressive’ liberal strategist and Chief of Staff to Jasmine Crockett, Karrol Rimal openly using the N word and saying he will support Donald Trump.

Crokett made a name by representing George Floyd protestors in June 2020.

Crockett is currently in a pitched battle in TX30 against multiple other challengers including Jane Hope Hamilton and Roy Williams Jr. among others.

In a poll two weeks ago almost half of voters surveyed by Crockett were undecided, but Crockett was the clear candidate leader with more than a third of support otherwise. It is unclear how the revelations of her staff member’s behavior will reflect in the primary.

Early voting starts on Monday, February 14, 2022.

The state employee makes at least $60,000 taxpayer dollars per year representing Rep. Crockett across the state and district.

Several have called for his immediate termination.

In the podcast above, it appears both Kendall Scudder, a current candidate in HD114, and Lilian Salerno, former candidate in TX32, had no issue with the content of his words as they laughed along.

DISD Busses Missing Again

DISD Busses Missing

DISD busses missing at multiple stops again this morning. Studnets were waiting upwards of half an hour at some stops as DISD could not field calls under fifteen minutes.

DISD Busses Missing

Many students arrive at their bus stop as early as fifteen minutes prior meaning they were waiting forty-five minutes for a bus that never showed.

This comes just days after it is announced that schools superintendent Michael Hinojosa will seek the mayor’s office in 2023. Given his tenure at Dallas ISD, it is unclear if his intent will be to keep fire trucks from arriving on time or simply slow down pot hole fixes.

DISD Busses Missing After Another Holiday

Dallas Independent School District seems incapable of keeping its fleet on the road after any holiday. The same thing happened during Thanksgiving this school year.

Dallas City Council Rap: Getting Worse?

Response to COVID19 may have hit a road block locally after a Dallas City Council rap song is going viral.

The live “music” performance was performed by Alex Stein, a graduate of Highland Park High School who seemed to be coaxing Instagram followers for himself.

Alex once wanted to be the “most epic villain in reality tv history.” It is possible this stunt was designed to become the most epic villain in city council open microphone history.

The one positive to come out of the video is it was intended to be positive. It is hard to make the same call for Renee Hall’s Take A Knee video in 2020.

Seider Challenges Suprun

Seider Challenges Suprun

Current Dallas Justice of Peace 3-2 Steve Seider challenges Suprun ballot petitions in a late Friday notice to Dallas County Democratic Party.

It is unclear the basis for Seider’s challenge, but he has previously attempted to keep opponents off the ballot in other election years, and this appears to be another attempt at resurrecting Donald Trump’s Big Lie over election fraud claims when none exist.

Seider Challenges Suprun

Christopher Suprun is best known politically as the 2016 Republican faithless elector who would not vote for Donald Trump. His December 2016 New York Times oped was the first time a member of the Electoral College publicly announced a campaign against his party’s own nominee.

Since that time Suprun has been active in electing Democrats across the nation, but is seen as a fair person committed to the Rule of Law. He did not respond to a request for comment despite previously writing for Other Side Dallas.

Seider Challenges Suprun Not First GOP Politricks Of 2022

Seider challenging Christopher Suprun is not the first of this cycle or the first for Seider who sued to remove Mauri Long from the ballot in 2018 in a race he won by 1400 votes out of 200,000.

The Dallas County Republican Party also added a candidate in the Justice of Peace Precinct 3 Place 1 race against Adam Swartz after the deadline.
