Judgement Against Deion Sanders’ Son For Assault

Deion Sanders

A 2016 personal injury case has led to an eight figure legal judgement against Deion Sanders family including his son, Shilo, after an assault at the successor to Prime Prep Academy, Focus Learning Academy.

Deion Sanders

In September 2015, Darjean then an employee with Focus Learning Academy, was violently attacked by Shilo Sanders – son of Deion and Pilar Sanders.

The attack casued by the younger Sanders hospitalized Darjean for multiple days in the hospital and required siognificant medical care including spinal surgery.

The outburst by Shilo Sanders cost medical providers more than $115,000 in medical care at the time and per court documents made Darjean unable to maintain gainful employment due to permanent neurological injuries and damage to his cervical spine.

Deion Sanders had publically denied the allegations and accused Darjean of being a liar.

Darjean is a former New York Yankees prospect who ran free baseball programs for Dallas area children. He also assisted one of his students in, a Townview alumni, with starting a nonprofit to bring baseball for children with cancer.

Darjean’s suit blames Sanders and his ex-wife Pilar of failing to supervise their child and failing to raise him to not act like a savage in public.

The full judgement can be found here:

Deion Sanders Prime Prep Academy

Prime Prep Academy was founded in 2012 in part by the former NFL cornerback. When it was established it had 1100 students in Oak Cliff and Ft. Worth, but things would quickly go sideways.

By January 2015, the school was closed due to financial insolvency and it and its nonprofit sponsor Uplift Ft Worth are still subject to pending court action over National School Lunch Program.

The school was closed with less than an hours’ notice and employees were shocked to find out their health insurance and retirement premiums were not being paid. A lawsuit by six employees helped recover some of their back wages that weren’t paid.

Focus Learning Academy took a majority of the students from Prime Prep Academy, but would later be closed after violating the Texas Education Agency “Three Strikes” provisions for charter schools.

The elder Sanders is currently Head Coach at Jackson State in the Southwestern Athletic Conference.

Julio Guerrero Back On Streets Today

Julio Guerrero

An accused murder, Julio Guerrero, is back on the streets today after Dallas Judge Chika Anyiam lowered his bond from $2,000,000 to $500,000.

Julio Guerrero

The bond amount meant a $50,000 fee could be paid for him to be released. His lawyer, Tom Cox, who owns a bail bond company made payment on the bail himself. Cox has also contributed $5000 to the reelection of Chika Anyiam causing one local court watcher to ask about ex parte conversations.

The move by Judge Chika Anyiam angered both the victim’s family and the Dallas Police Association. Anyiam is the Dallas Democrats nominee for Dallas Criminal Court 7 after their March primary.

Julio Guerrero History

Guerrero has a long history of violence and is considered a repeat offender.

Guerrero had been arrested in June 2021 for murdering Francisco Villanueva for “bumping” into him at a nightclub per Dallas Police.

Three days after the nightclub murder he shot a three year old in the head during a road rage incident.

Dallas, Dallas ISD Surrenders On Masks

Dallas ISD Surrenders On Masks

One day before primary voters choose party standard bearers, Dallas County and Dallas ISD surrenders on masks to Lauren Davis and reality.

Dallas ISD Surrenders On Masks

Lauren Davis is challenging Edwin Flores for the Republican nomination to challenge Clay Jenkins in the November General Election.

Davis has gained prominence leading protests at Dealey Montessori Academy starting in September and as Chief Culture Officer for The Gents Place which has had unique views unrelated to men’s salon services recently.

The protests caused parent anger, particularly when Dallas Police seemed to go out of their way to protect white protestor rights over those of Black Lives Matter protests just a year prior. The protests seemed to be the impetus for Beth Wing’s sudden departure.

The Hinojosa flip flop comes as he reportedly prepares a mayoral run next year.

Dallas, Dallas ISD Surrenders On Masks – Any Change In Data?

In a late Friday afternoon statement, Judge Clay Jenkins announced his revised order regarding mask requirements in Dallas County.

“One hour after the CDC recommendation today, the public health committee met to look at hospital numbers here, medical modeling from UT Southwestern, and other information critical to advising,” said Jenkins.

However, some say, “What order? Government facilities have not mandated masks. Look at local theater operations,” said one county employee.

Many have complained that neither Dallas County, nor City of Dallas, took serious precautions once they decided to open back up.

“The theater here is that we needed masks,” the employee said. “This has all been political posturing by people who have magnetic attractions to microphones.”

“Clay Jenkins never mentioned paper masks don’t work against omicron. You need a N95 or KN95, but that doesn’t work for his audience of knitting circles.”

Both Dallas and Dallas schools says masks will no longer be mandated, but that they are “recommended.”

Gun At Marshall Prep Academy

Gun At Marshall Prep

An unsealed letter went home to parents a Chapel Hill Preparatory School was found in possession of a student at their bus stop. The student had a gun At Marshall Prep, but there was “no danger” to students at Chapel Hill Prep. The letter came from Dallas Independent School District’s principal, Zenaida Martinez.

The letter above was circulated on social media and was verified by multiple parents who expressed concern that it was in a “tend home” folder, usually reserved for PTA fundraising literature or class assignment notices.

One parent called it a “casual letter. Normalizing it.” Other Side Dallas has been unable to locate a similar letter to Marsh Preparatory Academy parents and Dallas schools staff does not respond to requests for comment.

Gun At Marshall Prep

The latest incident is one of a growing number. Earlier in the year, multiple reports stated there were individuals on campus at Dealey Montessori with firearms during a COVID9 mask mandate protest.

Prior to that protest the organizer’s business had tweeted out the question which is better the AK47 or M16 in a blog post which seemed unrelated to the men’s salon business and fully related to the school protest.
