Massachusetts comes to Dallas in the form of a drug-screening company relocating to North Dallas. This is the first 2024 corporate relocation.
Psychemedics Corporation has been based in Action, Massachusetts, roughly twenty miles north of Boston.
The new headquarters address is 5220 Spring Valley Road, Suite 230, in Dallas.
In October announced the company launch a new five-panel drug screen test. The goal is to shift the focus of workplace screenings from marijuana to fentanyl.
Mustang Red1A incident records are available and now public after a construction accident in March severely injured a contractor.
Google is investing over $600 million in the new data center in Red Oak to power the increasing digital demands locally.
The company said it will invest an initial $330 million in Texas this year. They expect final costs to total at least $600 million over multiple years.
The investment will result in 1200 temporary construction jobs, but only thirty full time jobs on completion.

An incident at Google Mustang Red1A project has employees shaken. Monday morning an employee was pinned between a housing deck and a mobile home trailer at the construction site.
A firefighter who responded to the scene said the trade worker was transported to Methodist Dallas Medical Center.
The employee is described as being critically injured. He was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit with multiple fractures and an internal arterial bleed.
It is unclear what led to the Monday tragedy, but an investigation is underway.

The Mustang Red1A site just started construction in the past two months.
The site is being built by Holder Construction for Google on the Dallas/Ellis County line under extreme secrecy. The perimeter is guarded twenty-four hours a day and no one is allowed on site without approval.
Several conservative activists have noted the future buildings will house a data center used by the National Security Administration.
PM22 – the Podcast Movement conference currently in Dallas – is facing criticism after an online apology for allowing Ben Shapiro to be “present.”

Among the attendees at PM22 was Ben Shapiro. Shapiro is a conservative pundit.
He visited the conference’s expo center, where The Daily Wire—the conservative news site Shapiro co-founded – had rented a booth.
He took some pictures with attendees and moved on. There were no statements – no politics – he just visited. This caused earthquakes in the social media community requiring PM22 to apologize for him being present.
PM22’s tweeted “The pain caused by this one will always stick with us. We promise that sponsors will be more carefully considered moving forward.”
Dallas Fire Rescue battled a three alarm fire yesterday, but there are no reports of response to the conference for attendees in pain. Mr. Shapiro generously stands at 5’7 begging the question who did he cause pain to by being “present?”
The Daily Wire is an American conservative news website and media company founded in 2015. It’s founders are political commentator Ben Shapiro and film director Jeremy Boreing.

The Podcast Movement website claims to be the “ultimate annual destination for diverse speakers, education, networking, and groovy parties.”
It appears, like George Orwell’s Animal Farm, they want diversity, just not right of center diversity.
Shapiro has made a career of mocking college campuses that refuse right of center speech.
One attendee said he expected Shapiro will make use of this experience where his presence was so frightening to further push his goals.
PM22 media representatives have refused to respond to multiple requests for comment not unlike recent antifa groups who threatened city officials attempting to address homeless conditions.
Dallas Love Field drops masks requirement hours after a federal judge in Miami, Florida ruled they were unconstituional. The Dallas Airport wasted no time after given the go ahead by the judge’s ruling.
US District Judge Kathryn Kimball Mizelle said the mandate was unlawful because it exceeded the statutory authority of the Centers for Disease Control. Her ruling stated it was unconstitutional because of its implementation violated administrative law.
Southwest has been pushing to elimenate the mask mandate for some time, despite Chief Executive Officer Gary Kelly getting coronavirus himself.
Federal dollars are coming to Dallas and public input is being requested for the use of those dollars.
The City of Dallas Community Development Commission (CDC), along with staff from Budget and Management Services will hold a series of virtual neighborhood public meetings to inform residents of the potential uses of U.S Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) funds.
The meetings are also designed to encourage residents to provide input on how the City uses these federal grant funds to address community needs.
The HUD grants serve low-and-moderate income residents and communities in Dallas. The FY 2022-23 Action Plan (annual budget) will be submitted to HUD August 2022. The meetings begin virtually Thursday, January 6 to January 20.

Southwest Airlines Chief Executive Officer Gary Kelly has COVID19 just days after glibly telling Congress he doesn’t think masks provide any health benefit in contradiction to Centers for Disease Control guidance.
It is unclear how many cases are happening within Southwest Airlines right now, but more locally Dealey Montessori cases shot up immediately when unmasked students were allowed it the classroom in violation of Dallas ISD’s mask mandate.

Contractors and staff of SBA extorting minority applicants per phone calls and screen shots. Staff members of Region 6 have refused multiple requests for comment, but Ahmad Goree is attending a 24 Hour Dallas webinar on funding minority nightime business this evening.
In one partial screenshot, a staff member releases information to a third party “finder.” The finder then offers to broker the application with SBA for fees of ten percent to the SBA staff member and five percent to the finder.
Goree and other staff have refused multiple requests for comment as to why staff members are heard asking for kickbacks. They have also not responded to multiple requests for comment on process or how information is contained.
These issues comes just days after Dallas Fed Chairman Robert Kaplan announced his sudden resignation after it became clear he was trading stocks using his personal accounts while the Fed was buying the same securities.
