Trump Gets COVID19 Vaccine Booster

Trump Gets COVID19 Vaccine Booster

On Sunday at the American Airlines Center, a surprising admission from the former President. President Donald Trump gets COVID19 vaccine booster per his conversation with Bill O’Reilly which surprised many in the crowd leading to a small crowd booing his admission.

Many Republicans have dismissed official healthcare guidance seeking treatments such as hydroxychloriquine or ivermectin despite clear evidence they do not play a positive role in slowing infection rates or hospital admissions for coronavirus.

In the meantime, Omicron rates are skyrocketing across Europe and parts of the United States and health officials are worried again about winter hospital bed availability.

Trump Gets COVID19 Vaccine Booster

It isn’t clear what prompted Trump to get the vaccine booster, but recently Southwest Airlines Chief Executive Officer Gary Kelly was diagnosed with COVID19 just days after telling Congress he doesn’t think masks provide any health benefit in contradiction to Centers for Disease Control guidance.

Last summer, Dallas has been described as a COVID19 “hot zone” due to high infection numbers.

School Vaccine Incentive Expanded

School Vaccine Incentive

Dallas Independent School District has expanded its school vaccine incentive to students age 5 – 11.

A similar program for students 12 and older had a November 15 deadline.

School Vaccine Incentive Update

The new program move follows an earlier program that paid students age 12 – 17 for proof of vaccination status.

Per a Dallas schools website, high demand for the $50 incentive, paid through gift cards, along with shipping delays during the holiday season have created an unforeseen delay in the distribution of the vaccine incentive gift cards.

Those students who submitted documentation by the November 15 deadline will still get their incentive.

Dealey 7 New COVID 19 Cases

Dealey 7 New COVID 19 Cases

Data released by Dallas Independent School District tells the story. Dealey 7 new cases of COVID19 since dropping the mask mandate. The mandate dropped for two students out of several hundred.

The impact is being felt as several full classrooms are being required to quarantine. This comes after the reckless nature of one parent.

The parent is being enabled by both principal, Beth Wing and PTA President Alishia Salmon.

The DISD coronavirus dashboard shows five cases at Dealey. It does not reflect the seven cases listed in an email to parents.

Dallas County COVID19 numbers are falling. They are rising on the Dealey campus where mask mandates are now ignored.

Dealey 7

Officials expect the Dealey 7 numbers to rise after they surrendered on masks. The mandate has had almost 100% compliance.

In mid October there was a protest involving two dozen paid activists. That protest harrassed both staff and students as young as four.

Adults using bullhorns hurled accusations at kindergarten students over unfounded abuse claims. Officials did say protestors must stay on sidewalks, but did not maintain that zone. During the October protest parents reported protestors with firearms at school.

Dallas ISD Police and Dallas Police stated there were no arrests during protests.

Protest ring leader, Lauren Davis has not responded to many emails for comment. She is Chief Culture Officer for The Gents Place.

Despite protests, Davis’ children wear masks in other locations around Dallas. There is no record of her complaint anywhere other than Dallas ISD leading up to these events.

The Gents Place did post an ominous question earlier asking which was the better weapon: the AK47 or M16. Some have called it charged with an implicit threat to the school.

Dallas school officials have also declined to respond to emails. These emails from both parents and Other Side Dallas show the district in bunker mode.

Parents say the Dealey PTA leadership, particularly Alishia Salmon, enables the Davis complaint. She talks about “community” without taking any action to stop Ms. Davis for her role in protests.

Lauren Davis, Chief Culture Owner and spouse of The Gents Place, was pushing for her children to be allowed in regular classrooms unmasked despite wearing masks in other parts of their lives.

The Davis family business Twitter account also had an ominous post about which is better: the AK47 or M16 two days prior to the protest in what some called a threat.

Eric Johnson Tests Positive For COVID19

Eric Johnson Tests Positive

Mayor of Dallas Eric Johnson test positive for COVID19 per a statement issued a short while ago.

Eric Johnson Tests Positive

“I appreciate your thoughts and prayers on behalf of my family, and I look forward to a speedy recovery so I can get back to work with my colleagues on behalf of the people of Dallas,” Johnson, 46, said in the statement. “In addition, I want to take this opportunity to again encourage residents of Dallas to get vaccinated if they have not yet done so — and to receive a booster shot when they are eligible.”

Eric Johnson Tests Positive Despite Vaccination

Mayor Johnson was vaccinated at UT Southwestern Medical Center in January 2021 due to an underlying medical condition not disclosed.

Despite county mask requirements, the City of Dallas has been less strict with enforcing masks locally including at popular gathering places such as The Majestic Theatre.

The Mayor has cancelled a number of appointments including tomorrow’s city council meeting as he recovers.

Southwest Surrenders To Protests

Southwest Surrenders

Dallas’s Southwest surrenders to COVID19 protests and disregards the Biden Administration mandates for federal contractors to have employee compliance on mandatory COVID19 vaccinations.

Southwest Surrenders

The airlines has scrapped a plan to put unvaccinated employees on unpaid leave starting by a federal deadline in December. Those who have applied for but haven’t received a religious or medical exemption would be on this list.

American Airlines and Southwest Airlines are among the carriers that are federal contractors subject to a Biden administration requirement that employees be vaccinated against COVID19 by December 8.

Federal contracting rules are stricter than those expected for large companies, which will allow for regular Covid testing as an alterative to a vaccination.

Southwest Surrenders After Pledging For Mandate

Southwest Airlines is experiencing what one employee called a “schizophrenic episode.”

He continued, “they don’t know if they are coming or going. Last week they stood with American Airlines against Greg Abbott’s statewide executive order. Now they’re against Biden. There’s really no leadership.”

Limo Liberal Al Franken Does Dallas Mask Free

The Majestic which is celebrating one hundred years open did not comment about why they were not enforcing the mask mandate other than to lay blame on former Senator Franken who resigned his United States Senate seat over sexual harassment allegations.

City officials claimed they could not enforce county mandates and were not subject to them per Jason Evans of Dallas Fire Rescue.

Several participants noted that at least forty percent of the crowd was mask free and there were several people coughing enough that they “belonged” in an ICU for breathing trouble.

Prior to the show, several emails when out from Franken’s promotion team stating masks would be needed for entry along with vaccination cards or proof of negative test, but no checks occurred at the door.

It is unclear if Franken will offer refunds to those unable to attend the show due to the lack of follow through on maintaining a clean environment.

Parents Pushing COVID19 Protests At Dealey Montessori

Parents Pushing COVID19 Protests

A group of parents are pushing COVID19 protests at Dealey Montessori Academy just weeks after its sister school in South Dallas had an explosion in cases at Harry Stone Montessori Academy.

Parents Pushing COVID19 Protests

Dallas Independent School District had told the state that they plan to enforce a mask mandate despite Governor Abbott’s executive order this summer.

One Dealey parent said they were not sure if this was “a parent committing child abuse by intentionally sending a child to school maskless” or if it was “domestic terroism intentionally spreading germs in a communal environment.”

The parent who did not want to be named went on, “The parents are clearly more interested in making a political statement than they are in being in an environment of mutual contributions, respect, and learning.”

COVID19 Protests

Four students in the upper elementary program have chosen to attend school without masks and have been accomodated in another classroom together. On Friday, September 17, the four decided to attempt to enter other classrooms disrupting the school’s day.

It is unclear if they were subject to any discipline, but Dallas ISD magnets frequently have stringent requirements and regularly disrupting class can be a reason to remove the child from a magnet program.

We will update this topic when more information becomes available or DISD representatives return inquires.

Cafeteria Changes Coming

Cafeteria Changes

Cafeteria changes are coming to Dallas Independent School District lunch rooms due to supply chain problems with plastic flatware. The change comes one day after the district announced a $50 vaccination incentive for students age twelve or older.

Cafeteria Changes

Dallas ISD announced school cafeterias will be offering finger foods two days a week – on Tuesdays and Thursdays – because flatware is in such limited supply.

“A number of suppliers told us they have product, but it’s stuck in a port,” said Michael Rosenberger, the executive director of food and child nutrition services for the district.

The modified menu means instead of salad, cafeterias may serve veggie sticks. Instead of spaghetti, students may enjoy items like burgers, baked fries, or pizza, among other things.

Cafeteria Changes Include Menu Direction

Parents can still view Dallas ISD menu options via the MealViewer website which you can find here.

Coronavirus is having a long lasting impact on local economies and supply chains around the world. It is not clear if local schools may change to a North American based provider of the plasticware in the future.

Cash For Vaccinations

Cash For Vaccinations

Dallas Independent School District is offering cash for vaccinations to students and staff who get the COVID19 vaccination.

DISD is believed to be the first district in Texas to offer students ages 12 and up cash incentives for voluntarily getting vaccinated. The district said they will give fully vaccinated students a $50 gift card that can be used the same as cash.

Cash For Vaccinations

Teachers are eligible for a larger incentive of $500.

As of September 13, Dallas Independent School District reported 1,546 confirmed cases of COVID19 among students and 650 additional cases in staff.

The district is enforcing a mask mandate despite being forbidden by the governor and his executive order banning such mitigation efforts.

Dallas schools have more than 140,000 students and an infection rate of just over one percent.

Other large districts like Arlington and Frisco have less than half the student population of the Dallas ISD and are reporting hundreds of more infections among students leading to higher infection rates – both Arlington and Frisco are three times as much as Dallas. Neither Arlington or Frisco has a mask mandate.

Cash For Vaccinations Details

The announcement of the student vaccination incentive comes as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Dallas County Health officials have raised the COVID19 alert to level red and reported that hospitalizations are rising at the fastest rate since the pandemic began, among all age groups, including children.

Participation in the student vaccination incentive is entirely voluntary and based on the personal preferences of students and their families. The information provided will help the district determine how many students who are eligible have been fully vaccinated and facilitate the contact tracing and quarantine processes, which are different depending on vaccination status.
