Dallas Ransomware Data Leaked – Jenkins Flustered

Judge Clay Lewis Jenkins seems flustered per insiders with the county.

Jenkins in a statement said Dallas officials were reviewing the released material. In a statement he said they are reviewing “claims” the material was stolen from Dallas County.

“We want to assure everyone that we are taking this matter seriously,” he said.

“Our top priority is the security and privacy of all individuals associated with Dallas County.”

However, when the incident first happened he waited nearly two weeks to inform employees about the breach.

Shilo Sanders Not Learning

Shilo Sanders not learning from past mistakes after a brutal hit where he leads with the crown of the helmet.

Some say Sanders plays the game of football with a throwback style. However, it’s a style increasingly at odds with the modern NCAA.

His play causes controversy, including on Saturday. Officials removed him from the contest for a hit on a UCLA Wide Receiver.

It was the tackle that used to be commonplace in football. Now viewed as a partial cause of CTE and other brain injuries.

Shilo Sanders Not Learning – Off Field Issues

Sanders has had off field violence issues too.

Shilo Sanders Not Learning

Sanders who assaulted a staff member at Focus Learning Academy – the successor to Prime Prep Academy – does it again.

A 2016 personal injury case has led to an eight figure legal judgement against Deion Sanders family including his son, Shilo, after an assault at the successor to Prime Prep Academy, Focus Learning Academy.

In September 2015, Darjean then an employee with Focus Learning Academy, was violently attacked by Shilo Sanders. Shilo is the son of Deion and Pilar Sanders.

The attack casued by the younger Sanders hospitalized Darjean for multiple days in the hospital and required siognificant medical care including spinal surgery.

The outburst by Shilo Sanders cost more than $115,000 in medical care at the time and per court documents made Darjean unable to maintain gainful employment due to permanent neurological injuries and damage to his cervical spine.

Deion Sanders had publically denied the allegations and accused Darjean of being a liar.

Darjean is a former New York Yankees prospect who ran free baseball programs for Dallas area children. He also assisted one of his students in, a Townview alumni, with starting a nonprofit to bring baseball for children with cancer.

Darjean’s suit blames Sanders and his ex-wife Pilar of failing to supervise their child and failing to raise him to not act like a savage in public.

Dealey TAG – You’re It

Dealey TAG – or Talented and Gifted – is being fast tracked by fast tracked principal Amber Garrett as payback for her position.

Garrett got her position in less than two weeks of interviews in what teachers are calling the fastest DISD promotion ever.

Garrett announced the meeting that was held only hours later.

Dealey TAG

Dallas Independent School District took six months to replace Beth Wing – the previous principal. Similarly, they used nearly a full academic year at Sudie Williams TAG to replace Michael Jackson.

The payback is going to Dealey PTA president April Labossiere Ogboenyiya and SBDM Chair Bridgett Neely. The two pushed for the marketing change last summer. New Principal Ibarra had an application period of fully qualified applicants meaning the marketing change was unnecessary.

Dealey TAG Surrendering Montessori

The TAG idea was to increase campus marketing without fixing underlying problems on the campus.

The Dealey school does have talented and gifted services throughout the campus including two teachers handling that curriculum currently.

Dealey TAG

One parent said, “the Dealey PTA is a consistent problem for the school.” He continued, “Under Beth Wing they were close with Lauren Davis who caused the masking protests. Now they want to pick a principal.”

Sarah Weinberg has not responded to numerous requests for comment. She also sends out emails to less than half the school population.

Another parent described Weinberg’s early board service as “Dustin Marshall in pants.”

Weinberg goes out of her way to avoid controversy with her boss Stephanie Elizalde, said another parent. She is easily led by the leash and does what they tell her.

Ultimately the Ethics Advisory Commission chose to delay the meeting per a motion from Grant Schmidt.

Bazaldua Ethics Meeting Background

Adam Bazadula, City Council Member for District 7, was accused by Pamela Grayson that he violated city ethics code by making personal attacks against Grayson on Facebook. He also removed his co-sponsorship of an Earth Day event she was organizing.

Bazaldua Ethics Meeting

Grayson’s complaint says Bazaldua had park rangers and police waiting on vendors who were arriving at the event. The complaint states Bazaldua was overheard saying that he does not come to South Dallas because “the risk outweighs the reward.”

Grayson argued Bazaldua’s actions are in violation of Dallas code of ethics rules stating council members must act with integrity and treat others with respect and must be responsible with taxpayer resources.

Zombie DISD Auditor Report: It’s Back

DISD Auditor Report

The DISD Auditor Report should be back in the news shortly. An affidavit was filed by a former employee of a local construction firm stating that there were both significant and intentional cost issues to projects discussed in the DISD Audit Report of Steven Martin, but additionally several Dallas ISD Trustees including two former members were receiving payments and benefits including Dallas Cowboys game tickets for their support of project procurement practices.

DISD Auditor Report

The affidavit was filed with the US Attorney’s Office in Dallas. They would have jurisdiction over federal taxpayer dollars being lost due to fraud, waste, or abuse.

This should be the second report received on the topic by federal authorities. Trustee Dustin Marshall claimed to have sent similar information to the FBI in February 2020. He has not responded to a request for tracking or other confirmatory information on his submission.

One former Dallas ISD employee familiar with school leadership commented “wow.”

A second person said “this has been going on for years and no one does anything. We saw financial problems when Hinojosa was here before, it continued with [Mike] Miles. Why is anyone surprised?”

Dallas ISD officials’ focus has shifted to battling COVID19 as district numbers have tripled since they re-opened hybrid school on Monday, but this would be a major financial setback for the DISD who has struggled with getting students to return to campus and generate enthusiasm for a $3.7B bond package given ongoing issues with Dallas ISD procurement policies.

COVID19 Distracting From DISD Audit Report

In September, the Texas Education Agency took over Desoto schools after travel procurement issues were found to have cost taxpayers more than $400,000. It is not clear how far and wide this scandal might spread.

DISD Auditor Report

The DISD Auditor Report has left more questions than answers. Dallas ISD staff including interim Chief Internal Auditor Alan King have not responded to multiple email requests for comment.

Eight years ago local news reported on what was then a rough start to the school year for Dallas ISD and this year has been worse. King is described then as leading the district in the “aftermath of former Superintendent Michael Hinojosa’s departure last year” was resigning from the district for the first time then.

King served as Chief Financial Officer from January to June of 2011, when he was elevated to interim superintendent. Most considered King a success as both CFO and Interim Superintendent. Hwas described “as the perfect fit for an interim boss role: pragmatic, straight-forward, no-nonsense.”

Board of Trustees President Justin Henry and 1st Vice President Dan Micciche have not responded to emails for comment either.

Multiple whistleblowers reported problems with Dallas ISD procurement. To date they have all been terminated, asked to resign, or forced out of their positions. An example includes Zachariah Manning who alleged criminal activity as far back as 2016.

Recently Next Generation Action Network’s Dominique Alexander was highly critical of Dallas ISD officials for ending a contract for Thomas Jefferson High School’s rebuild in a Facebook Live video.

Maxie Johnson in a Board of Trustees meeting used words like forgery and the term corruption has been used since by Dallas ISD cheer captain, the Dallas Morning News.

From the Dallas Morning News editorial: “This could not come at a worse time for DISD. The board just approved placing its largest bond package ever before voters in November. The $3.2 billion request is really a vote of confidence in whether Hinojosa’s administration and whatever follows it can effectively manage a huge number of construction projects over a long period of time.”

In additionally to current allegations, Dallas ISD’s audit webpage no longer includes reports from Steven Martin. They are attached below. Dallas ISD has also not responded to Public Information Requests since March 2020 citing disaster declarations surrounding COVID19 as reasons to not respond. Dallas ISD operations have been in operation since August 2020.

TEA Takeover For Desoto Sinking Schools?

The Texas Education Agency appears to be ready to take over Desoto Independent School District’s due to multiple questions of financial problems.

The school board accepted Dr. D’Andre Weaver’s resignation during an emergency meeting Sunday night. The reason for his resignation was not made public.

Weaver’s term started with investigations into unethical practices including more than $300,000 in travel expenses. Former board member Jerry Hall said the school board refused to do anything about inappropriate spending.

The 18-page TEA report indicates former administration employees could face a criminal investigation for fifty fraudulent credit card purchases to fictitious vendors. His efforts met resistance from some board members who had the ultimate say over him.

Texas Education Agency Plans To Take Over Desoto ISD

Texas Education Agency Next Steps

The TEA is now recommending the troubled district be taken out of the hands of the divided school board. The Desoto ISD Board of Trustees accepted Weaver’s resignation after ninety minutes in executive session.

The Desoto ISD example may be a warning of things to come given Dallas’ own sudden departures. The auditor scandal has still not been explained and may effect the bond vote. There have also been recent accusations that Dallas ISD was trying to box out minority contractors – first inferred by Trustee Maxie Johnson and then seconded by Next Generation Action Network’s Dominique Alexander.
