West fights Texas primaries in a recent email to supporters blaming a system similar to Texas for Nikki Haley’s success in New Hampshire.
The email said there are thirteen propositions. One is a closed primary system.
(Nikki Haley ‘s success in New Hampshire was attributed by West to Democrats voting in the Republic primary. Data indicates Ambassador Haley won independents by a wide margin over former president Donald Trump.)
On Sunday at the American Airlines Center, a surprising admission from the former President. President Donald Trump gets COVID19 vaccine booster per his conversation with Bill O’Reilly which surprised many in the crowd leading to a small crowd booing his admission.
Many Republicans have dismissed official healthcare guidance seeking treatments such as hydroxychloriquine or ivermectin despite clear evidence they do not play a positive role in slowing infection rates or hospital admissions for coronavirus.
In the meantime, Omicron rates are skyrocketing across Europe and parts of the United States and health officials are worried again about winter hospital bed availability.
Trump Gets COVID19 Vaccine Booster
It isn’t clear what prompted Trump to get the vaccine booster, but recently Southwest Airlines Chief Executive Officer Gary Kelly was diagnosed with COVID19 just days after telling Congress he doesn’t think masks provide any health benefit in contradiction to Centers for Disease Control guidance.
Last summer, Dallas has been described as a COVID19 “hot zone” due to high infection numbers.
Or at least they said you can not unfurl a banner saying Trump won the election.
The same people who attended June’s QAnon Rally in Dallas apparently think it is appropriate to advertise Trump’s “win” at Globe Life Field.
Video shows a man identified as conspiracy theorist Owen Shroyer demanding his banner back after the security personnel removed it. Shroyer has previously been removed from Congressional hearings for outbursts.
It is unclear if this was intended as entertainment or actual political posturing.
John Blake of the Rangers has not returned an email seeking comment on whether or not Mr. Shroyer will be banned from future Rangers or Major League Baseball games as others have been for similar stunts.
Dion Cini, unfurled a similar banner previously, resulting in a strongly worded letter from MLB.
In Cini’s case, MLB said, “this activity is prohibited at each of these stadiums, and your fan code of conduct violations resulted in your ejection from each of them. A review of your public statements indicates that you intend to continue this behavior at other Major League Baseball stadiums, and that you are encouraging others to conduct themselves likewise,” per a letter circulating on social media.
Trump Lost Dallas
Dallas County Elections reported a 66% turnout. That equaled 924,000 ballots cast.
Biden won the majority of the vote by a margin of almost two to one. Sixty-five percent of voters supported President Joe Biden over President Donald Trump.
Dallas County reported 1,400,730 registered voters.
Two Dallas MAGA supporters attack an unarmed woman on Ervay Street in Dallas per video from this weekend. They are claiming she threw eggs at them during a Trump Train Parade.
The suspects in this case operate out of Pantego, Texas, a small city adjacent to Arlington, Texas. They are Trevor Turnbow and Chris Covington.
Turnbow turned to social media to say he would not be firing himself after calls were made to Turnbow Construction.
Dallas Police Department has not responded to a request for comment as of this post.
Dallas MAGA Supporters Attack – Again
Dallas has had multiple incidents recently including a Nazi swastika painted on a city parking garage. This summer a Boogaloo Boy posted on Faxcebook his intent to “hunt antifa.” He was later arrested for illegally selling steroids by federal officials.
Donald Trump’s recent decadent Dallas fundraiser was hosted by long term State Senator Royce West business partner, Brint Ryan. West is currently seeking the Democratic nomination to challenge US Senator John Cornyn in November.
Royce West Partner Raising Money For Donald Trump
Brint Ryan is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Ryan LLC – an indirect tax firm – which specializes in lowering tax payments in the areas of property, sales, and Value Added Taxes. Sen. Royce West is a forty percent owner in the firm which rakes in half a billion dollars annually and contributes regularly to Republican causes.
In 2016, Ryan donated more than $80,000 to the Republican National Committee and in 2017 was campaign treasurer for Lisa Luby Ryan’s failed campaign against State Representative John Turner. Lisa Luby Ryan beat moderate Jason Villalba in a contentious Republican primary before giving the seat away to Democrats just a few months later making a majority in the Texas State House of Representatives possible in 2020.
Ryan was also appointed by Lt. Governor Dan Patrick to a business task force to improve the Texas economy, but much of the Ryan LLC website focuses on their expansive work exporting jobs overseas to Hyderabad and the United Kingdom.
Ryan is also known as the 2009 candidate who ran the most expensive Dallas City Council campaign in history. The race was not only expensive, but perhaps one of the vilest in history also ending in a now-settled libel and slander suit.
Ann Margolin ran a campaign on her long-time civic volunteer experience at city hall and on the Parkland Hospital board. Ryan ran as a successful businessman and outsider – sound familar – who was the “perfect candidate.”
Brint Ryan was also instrumental in bringing Donald Trump Jr to the University of North Texas for a business speaker series. That speech included a $100,000 honorarium.
Donald Trump In Dallas
On June 11, 2020, President Donald Trump, spoke in Dallas describing his administration’s policy response to issues raised by George Floyd protests nationwide. He was quoted as saying that some police officers who abuse their power are “bad apples,” but cautioned against “falsely labeling” many Americans as racist.
These remarks were before the Brint Ryan fundraiser for his reelection effort that cost more than $500,000 per couple and was expected to net $10 million.
While light on details, Trump said his plan centered on economic development in black and Latino communities — going “above” the federal Opportunity Zones program — but without real details. He also said his administration was investing “substantial sums” in medical institutions that serve communities of color. He added he was finalizing an executive order that would encourage police departments nationwide “to meet the most current professional standards for use of force, including tactics for deescalation.”
Senate Primary Runoff
The news of Royce West’s connection to Donald Trump made some Democrats livid.
One local Democrat supporting Royce West lashed out at MJ Hegar for a lack of feminist credentials because she had accepted contributions from a corporate lawyer who had defended a “serial predator in Hollywood.”
Others were more circumspect and concerned it was one more issue with Senator Royce West whose son recently received a no bid contract from a state agency Senator West oversees. Details of the Department of Transportation contract have still not been released, but it would allow him access to prime real estate near downtown Dallas near I-45.
The runoff election is scheduled from June 29, 2020 to July 14, 2020.
