Brad Namdar Defense

Brad Namdar Defense

On Wednesday night, Other Side Dallas received and published a Brad Namdar defense comment about the story published Monday morning in which a video surfaced of Namdar with a sexual escort named Belle. The full story can be read here.

The comment we received from Gary Loftin, a self described Blue Dog Democrat, is below.

Brad Namdar Defense

We would not normally write a post about specific comments, but do so in this case because Mr. Loftin’s response has an IP address that matches another comment from several weeks ago, but in that case from a Greg Rancin.

Brad Namdar Defense

Both comments were defenses of Brad Namdar. In Mr. Ranchin’s case he claimed we had engaged in “wall to wall” coverage of Mr. Namdar despite us not publishing anything about him since February 2022.

It was actually his comment – also approved – which had us look for why there were protests about coverage of Mr. Namdar when no one was writing about him.

Brad Namdar Defense Needed?

As noted in the article Monday, Mr. Namdar has an interesting candidate history when you juxtapose his public statements versus his private actions.

Namdar vehemently denied the allegations he sought an escort when he went on Mark Davis’ radio show in February 2022. Additionally, he admitted to the crux of the facts in the Current Revolt story we referenced.

Moreover, when we published about him in February we were contacted by two separate families about alleged inappropriate behavior when he was a coach with Dallas Independent School District. We believe these two individuals are in addition to a third who made a complaint to the school.

Other Side Dallas was accused by “Mr. Loftin” of “trying to hurt a newly married couple” in his lengthy comment.

The timing of his wedding versus his actions with ‘Belle’ make the timeline somewhat unclear, but for the record, Other Side Dallas did not at any time encourage, solicit, or approve of Mr. Namdar seeking the companionship of an escort.

We do not know if Pia Namdar is aware of these issues or if she approves of them.

We do know the Brad Namdar defense is to deny allegations after he admitted to them in his conversation with Current Revolt.

One local Republican said of Bardia Namdarkhan, “He gave me the creeps from Day One…How he bamboozled PCRW is a mystery, except that they are PCRW and apparently easily duped. Pia seems decent, and I have a hard time seeing what she sees in the candle magnate.”

The statement above was made months ago prior to any Brad Namdar defense statement on his behavior or campaign. Officially, Other Side Dallas is grateful for the investigative push of both “Greg Ranchin” and “Gary Loftin” for encouraging us to further investigate Bardia Namdarkhan.

Trouble For Dallas Democrats 2022 Edition

Polls are out pre-primary and it shows more trouble for Dallas Democrats 2022 edition.

Trouble For Dallas Democrats 2022

The Dallas Morning News/UT Tyler poll shows Greg Abbott beating presumed Democratic nominee Beto O’Rourke by eleven points. O’Rourke still must win his primary, but Betocrats came out hard against whispers Matthew McConaughey might enter the race.

At the time, polls showed McConaughey beating Abbott – the only potential candidate to do so in any poll.

Currently, O’Rourke is well ahead of his other four primary opponents, but it is unclear what he does next if he loses again.

Lt. Governor candidate Mike Collier leads 21 points to 18 for state representative Michelle Beckley and Democratic Party Vice Chair Carla Brailey at 15 percentage points.

The big surprise may be progressive Latina Rochelle Mercedes Garza who is leading Joe Jaworski and the field of five candidates for Attorney General. She currently has 22 percentage points, nearly doubling presumed front runner Jaworski’s 13 points.

In that race, Lee Merritt and Mike Fields each come in with 9 points.

Dallas Democrats continue to shoot themselves in foot.

Locally, the party is still recovering from losses in 2020 that lost the chance at Texas House of Representatives membership parity. At the time insiders said a circular firing squad started.

It was also revealed that in a Dallas County Democratic Party audit that there were almost no operational or financial controls over money flowing into and out of the party. This all happened as Democrats included convicted felon Terry Hodge as a member of their Electoral College slate.

Trouble For Dallas Democrats 2022 Despite Self Inflicted GOP Wounds

The good news for Dallas Democrats mostly comes from a Republican Party that seems focused on nominating local QAnon supporters as standard bearers for their campaigns.

The other difficulty the GOP appears to be having will come in the 32nd Congressional District if they choose to nominate Brad Namdar who has been accused of soliciting an escort for sex and then not paying her after a second encounter.

That accusation led to him being suspended from an anti-trafficking program Namdar participated in with the Texas Secretary of State.

DMN/UT Tyler Poll Methodology

The Dallas Morning News/UT-Tyler Poll is a statewide random sample of 1,118 registered voters conducted between February 8 – 15, 2022.

The mixed-mode sample includes 276 registered voters surveyed over the phone by the University of Texas at Tyler with support from ReconMR and 912 registered voters randomly selected from Dynata’s panel of online respondents.

The margin of error for a sample of 1,118 registered voters in Texas is +/- 2.8 percentage points, and the more conservative margin of sampling error that includes design effects from this poll is +/- 3.1 percentage points for a 95% confidence interval.

Brad Namdar Responds

Brad Namdar responds to Texas Secretary of State saying he has “complied with all applicable Federal and State human trafficking laws and regulations.”

In Namdar’s letter to the Secretary of State he says, “No business funds have ever been expended for any purpose related to the commercial sex industry. Further, not only have no business resources been used in furtherance of (i) engagement in sexual conduct in violation of State or Federal law or (ii) Operation of any business as part of the commercial sex industry; but I also have no personal involvement with illegal sexual conduct or participation in the commercial sex industry. “

Brad Namdar Responds After Allegation He Paid Escort For Sex

Earlier this week, Namdar went on the Mark Davis Show on 660 KSKY to deny the allegations, but could only attribute the allegations to “nefarious sources” associated with human trafficking rings.

Namdar was accused of soliciting an escort by The Dallas Morning News almost a week ago.

One GOP Precinct Chair though said this was “pay back.”

She continued, “Brad screwed up a lot of city council campaigns in the 2021 election and now he can eat what he cooks up.”

Namdar is known for his strident opinions on trafficking and he has made Comet Pizza style conspiracy statements about locations here in Dallas.

Conservative radio host Mark Davis hosted Brad Namdar on 660 The Answer to answer questions about allegations in The Dallas Morning News that Namdar solicited escorts in 2021.

The allegations have cost Namdar a suspension from the Texas Secretary of State Texas Businesses Against Trafficking Program. Davis called TX32 a “pick up” opportunity for a Republican takeover of the House.

Brad Namdar on 660 The Answer

Namdar said “the allegations are not true. They are smears.”

Namdar claims in a scratchy throated response that this is all a “smear campaign” that happened two days before Early Voting to hurt him as a candidate.

Davis also brought up the issue of inappropriately touching an underage student at North Dallas High School.

Namdar says he never procured sexual services despite video of him.

Part of the story is that Namdar did not pay the escort for services on the second occasion. This is a second payment issue for Namdar who has now had legal questions about payment for services on multiple occasions.

Mark Davis: Brad Namdar on 660 The Answer

CD32 GOP Candidate Forum In Two Weeks

CD32 GOP Candidate Forum

Dallas County Republican voters will have an opportunity to hear from prospective Members of Congress at the CD32 GOP candidate forum on January 13, 20222 in two weeks.

CD32 GOP Candidate Forum

The event will take place at 6:30PM at the Studio Movie Grill on Royal Lane in North Dallas and will give local Republicans the chance to choose between mainstream conservatism or the growing chorus of QAnon backed candidates in Texas politics that have taken to protesting local schools despite having no children in the classroom.

CD32 GOP Candidate Forum Listing

The following candidates for the Republican nomination in Congressional District 32 are listed as part of the event:

Nathan Davis – a self described “American First Republican” from Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s Bronx, New York.

Darrell Day

Brad Namdar – perhaps the prohibitive favorite in the race. He is a small business owner and appointee of Governor Greg Abbott. He has also enjoyed multiple national media appearances.

Ejike Opka – if a second candidate exists who can challenge, it may be Opka who is a local real estate investor and former Dallas mayoral candidate. Opka should be able to raise the money needed to be competitive, but Namdar may be too far in front with grassroots support, and as of this writing still does not have an obvious website presence.
