A pit bull attack leaves a Dallas woman and her puppy in need of emergency medical care after the Thanksgiving weekend.
Laura Hunt walks her dog regularly, but on November 27 it was dramatically different.
On Sunday, she and her six month old Aussie puppy, Bean, were brutally attacked.
The dog attack came from an alley and Hunt’s screams for help alerted neighbors to her emergency.
Hunt’s neighbors heard the screaming, grabbed a shovel and beat the pit bull until it stopped.
The pit bull that attacked Hunt and Bean was euthanized.
Hunt worries there may be others in her neighborhood.
