Abbott Begs For Help Again

Texas Governor Greg Abbott begs for federal socialist help again per a statement from his office.

The Texas governor, who has opposed COVID19 vaccine mandates and other preventive measures, said on Friday that his state had requested federal help with testing sites.

Abbott Begs For Help

Abbott said in a press release that the state requested “resources for federally-supported testing locations and medical personnel and additional federal allocations of monoclonal antibodies.”

In June 2020, Governor Abbott blamed young people for the rise in COVID19 cases only to be diagnosed with the virus himself. He used monoclonal antibodies – a high dollar treatment option when he was diagnosed with coronavirus himself just a day after being at a fundraiser event the day before.

In October, Abbott issued a state executive order that barred Texas entities, including private business, from issuing COVID-related vaccine mandates. That came after the federal government announced a plan requiring private businesses with more than one hundred employees to require vaccinations or weekly testing.

Abbott was accused if playing politics at the time.

His statement against President Biden stated, “In yet another instance of federal government overreach, the Biden Administration is now bullying many private entities into imposing COVID19 vaccine mandates, causing workforce disruptions that threaten Texas’ continued recovery from the COVID19 disaster.”

Abbott is facing a primary challenge from both former Congressman Allen West and former Texas Senator Don Huffines.

Huffines has attacked Abbott on issues ranging from government administration to illegal immigrants, the coronavirus response, and blaming the governor for last year’s February power outages which he called “ridiculous.”

Abbott Begs Like Last Year While Denying Local Assistance

In August 2021, Abbott denied coronavirus response resources requested by Dallas area hospitals battling increasing hospital admissions.

Hospitals in Dallas and throughout North Texas said they needed hundreds of additional emergency staff to deal with the surge of viral cases of coronavirus. The state denied their request for emergency personnel.

  1. On your twitter feed you blamed Gov. Abbott “for #COVID19 crisis he created” in context of his appeal for assistance with “testing sites”.

It should be noted that it is Federal government that is relentlessly pushing for more “testing”. It is not office of Governor of Texas who is demanding more “testing” –including mandatory testing of those who have no discernible symptoms. It is the FedGov who is pushing that effort, even forcing it upon States as much (as they can get away with).

Abbott did not create the Covid19 crises.

His name is not Tony Fauci, nor is it Peter Daszak (EcoHealth Alliance) whom Fauci used as cut-out to provide funding for the Wuhan lab in China which was conducting gain-of-function research on coronaviruses.

Meanwhile, the so-called “vaccines” are failing to prevent infection and re-transmission of the virus among the vaccinated even as the FedGov is demanding “testing” of the unvaccinated, and demanding that the unvaccinated wear masks (while not pushing for those who are vaccinated to need do the same).

This is illogical, anti-scientific evidence insanity.

You seem to support that kind of nonsense, while demeaning Abbott’s request to FedGov for assistance in providing what FedGov is demanding of State, local, and private party (business interest), calling it an appeal to “socialism”. Thus justifying in your own mind yet more “socialism”?

To hell with that kind of double-talk.
