Talib sentenced to 37 years in prison for his role in the shooting of a youth football coach Mike Hickmon last summer.
The story was presented here in Other Side Dallas last August.
Aqib Talib and his brother Yaqub Talib were both NFL players prior to coaching in South Dallas.
Neither Talib brother addressed the media heading into the courthouse.
Aqib’s attorney said in a statement at the time of Hickmon’s death that the ex-NFL star was “very distraught and devastated…”
The former Super Bowl champion has not spoken out over it all since.
